Thank you for making our April Grand Opening a success. Art Bidz could not have had such an amazing turn out without the exceptional artists as well as amazing art supporters.

Art lovers from around Kansas City attended the Art Bidz premier debut.

Art patrons bid on sculpture, paintings, ceramics, photographs, furniture, and much more. Artists and patrons were able to meet and speak about their work. It created an atmosphere for supporters not only to understand the artwork of their interest, but also to have a connecting thread between the work of art and it's creator.

Art Bidz produced a laid back concept that contains a 90% silent auction. We have tried to make a relaxed and unique setting for enthusiasts to collect artwork. During the first Saturday, we also have the live auction for a few pieces. The auctioneer in April was none other than STRETCH, local Kansas City Artist and partner of Art Bidz.

We also had John Bukaty, performance painter that received rave reviews. Bukaty painted live to a local Guitarist Jay Eudaly.

Each month we will replace most all of the art shown at Art Bidz to insure a fresh monthly variety of local, regional, national, and international works of art. We work closely with artists and galleries to provide a wide range of great art at great prices.

Congratulations to the Art Bidz monthly Grant winners: Scott Ashe & Mark Wright. Scott Ashe brings an edge and attitude to his approach of found wood combined with mixed media. Mark Wright drawls on his many experiences and has tailored his process of faux bois. Both artists create work that gets a jaw dropping expression every time!

Now don't forget about the May auction! May 1st, the First Friday, will be the preview of the auction. On that Friday there will be no bidding, only the possibility to purchase artwork at the "Buy it Now" Price. Saturday, May 2nd is the big night of the silent and live auction, so do not forget to stop in and check it out because there will be more surprises!
