Derek Dodson

Derek has studied jazz guitar with Jay EuDaly for several years,
and with Jody Fisher through the National Guitar Workshop.

 Derek was in a working rock & blues band in the early 90's,
and has been playing in churches for the past 15 years. 
He continues to play at Lakeland Community Church in Lee's Summit, MO.

After achieving a Master's Degree in Education from Oklahoma City University,
Derek has worked with children and youth in a variety of settings, and specializes in teaching kids. 
He has worked with a number of students who have pursued jazz band in their local middle and high schools.

 All styles and ages are welcome. 
Derek teaches out of his home in Blue Springs, MO.
