I've got a better idea. Why don't I tear up your check and throw it away. Now you have all the money. You can pay the nanny and have the nanny give me my fee at James' first lesson. I can't think of a reason why this would not be acceptable to you. It solves all the problems. What do you think?

First of all, it's Saturday. Friday was yesterday. Second of all, on Sept 12th you called your "business associate" your "client". That means you are above him in authority. He is YOUR client and the money is YOUR money, he should do what you want him to do. What exactly is your business? It's bizarre that a "business associate" would not do what you want him to do with YOUR money. They guy who helps me with my money - investment and retirement accounts - advises me on what to do but ultimately he works for me, and does with my money what I tell him to do.

I should not be responsible for your money. That's your job and the job of your "business associate".

Thirdly, I know for a fact you are not from Austin - dude! Your English grammar and punctuation is so horrible there is NO WAY you could be American. I knew from the very beginning this was a scam.

So unless you can prove to me this is NOT a scam, I will add your check to my growing collection and add our email exchanges to my website so that other guitar teachers will find it when getting the same kind of scam run on them. Hey Robb,

I know this is a scam. Not only that, but this is the second check I've received from you. We went through all this once before last September. Your initial email was EXACTLY the same! Do you really make money at this? It seems very inefficient to not have a system in place that would recognize a previous mark that scammed you out of a bogus check. I know it costs you to ship the check to me, I have no idea what you spend on the check itself, or how you come up with the person for me to wire the money to - if it's not you by another name. So you have this investment - resources and overhead that you commit to, and yet you didn't even realize that I had gotten a previous check from you not even a year ago. How can you possibly make a profit? It's a mystery to me. Are there really that many people that fall for this?
