        Good day to you over there. I hope everything is fine with you? I'm writing you regarding the advart you placed on craigslist concerning coaching/lessons. But first of all let me introduce myself. My name is Bill Michael and I have a daughter named ashley, she is the only child that I have. I want the best for her in terms of education. She finished her first school in United Kingdom, but she grew up with her step mum in Mexico because her mum is late now. So thats why I married another wife so she wont grow up knowing anyone as her mother and I love her so much. Presently I'm still in United Kingdom with her and her step mum. Im so sorry for saying all this, but im just saying it because I want the best for her , I will want you to me answer these important questions below so I can know the next step for you to start the lecturing...

1. Please do you have a degree because i will need someone that is qualified?
2. How much do you charge per hour for lectures ?
3. How many months do you intend lecturing/train her ?
4. How much is the charge/fee per month ?
5. Would you prefare home lecture or she will come to you ?
6. I will need a closer Motel/Hotel close to your location, or any in the city ?
7. Are you a male or female ?
8. Whats the closest airport she can have her flight scheduled to from here?
9. Do you still have space available?

I'm in the process of enrolling her in one of the music schools in the city but pending that time, I want you to be giving her music lessons. You will be taking her 2 or 3 times a week, one hour each of the time. She will be staying with her gaurdian in a city close to you for the period of learning. I will like to make advance payment of 2 months. So please email me the total amount to be paid for 2 months. As for the payment that is not a problem at all, I will have my business partner who is in the states called/informed and he shall make arrangement of how the payment will get to you, so what I need you to do for me is to get these information below provided.

                     Good to hear from you so soon. I really appreciate your prompt response. I want her to begin the music lessons before 10th of Nov. this year. She will be in the states as soon as the tution fee is paid for and the rest of the funds sent to the flight manager to book her flight ticket and the rest of travelling paper works is done. As I have stated in my previous email that I'm in the process of getting her enrolled in one of the schools and to let you know that her hotel reservation has already been handled.  
                   Ok , I got the information you provided for the payment to be made to. There is no problem about the monthly charges. I will have my partner called so he could make the payment out to the name and address given to me and the payment will get to you soon. She will be in the states as soon as the lesson fee is arranged. I will email you her flight schedule as soon as you have the rest of the funds sent to the travel agent to book her flight ticket. Once again, I will need the closer airport to your location as soon as possible and please can you come and pick her up at the airport? I shall appreciate that if you could. I'm waiting to read from you.

I just tracked the package and discovered that the package (payment) is out for delivery and will soon be delivered at the address provided to me as dated (11/06/2009) in the www.FedEx.com website with this tracking number (796095810877). Please try to be around to receive the package. I want you to act fast on this because I don't want any form of delay. I will like to arrange the flight ticket as soon as possible so that my daughter can get to the states before weekend and get the first music lessons. Yeah, that line about irony was a joke. Probably too subtle for someone whose native language is not English. My apologies.

Secondly: I know that this is a scam. Let me see if I've got the basic idea. You can tell me where I may have it wrong, ok?

Why would you send me more than I asked for? And why insist I send you the money via Western Union or Money Gram rather than my own check? Could it perhaps be because Western Union &/or Money Gram is not traceable? It's like cash, isn't it? And then in a week or two or three when your check comes back to my bank as a forgery I have no recourse. I owe the bank the amount on the check plus bank fees and you have my money. Isn't that the way this kind of thing works? I believe it is.

So Bill (or whatever your name is), it seems to me that you are trying to steal MY hard earned money from me. Is this not the case?

Now if I am wrong about you, there is a very easy way that our problem could be resolved. If this happens, I will personally apologize to you and give your daughter her first lesson for free. But, you must indicate to me that I am wrong about you, and that you wish to know what my solution is.

In the meantime, our correspondence goes up on the "Scam" section of my website. When you, or someone like you, or you using a different name, scam other people, some of them find my website. I have received many emails thanking me for helping other teachers avoid being scammed. I then have an opportunity to sell my products. So I thank you for helping me to create content that drives traffic and potential customers to me.
