Although I own a plethora of instruments and assorted gear I have 3 different rigs that I use for most of the gigs I play. The type of gig determines the rig.

Jazz & Blues

Rock/R&B

Acoustic

Guitar: Highly modified Paul Reed Smith McCarty model strung with a stock set of GHS Boomers. I generally use a set of .011's but I replace the .011 with a .012.

Amp: Roland Jazz Chorus-120. I use the onboard effects. Generally no other effects.

Guitar: 1972 Fender Telecaster &/or a Charvel-Jackson Model 4 with a Floyd Rose Tremolo.

Both the Telecaster and the Charvel strung with GHS Boomers - stock set of .010's

Amp: Roland Jazz Chorus-120

Pedalboard: 2 signal chains.
The guitar goes into a Cry Baby Wah-Wah to a Boss Rotary Ensemble then to an A/B box

Lead side:
Marshall Distortion
Boss chorus
Volume Pedal
Digital Delay
Digital Reverb

Rhythm Side:
MXR Distortion II
Volume Pedal
I use the onboard chorus, reverb and tremolo effects in the JC-120

Guitar: Martin MC28 strung with Martin Phosphor Bronze - light gauge.

Pedalboard: Guitar goes into an A/B box. One side goes to a tuner, the other side goes to:
Volume Pedal
Boss 7-band EQ
Boss BC 20XL Loop Station
Boss 7-band EQ
I rely on the PA for reverb & delay effects.
